This weekend we were at two markets. The weekend started off in Airdrie at the Apple Creek Golf Course for the inaugural Makers of Alberta market! I made a few changes to the display to accommodate the brand new gift sets in time for Mother’s Day.
Since discovering lemongrass, I’ve been slightly obsessed with it. This may be apparent with the spa gift sets I made for Mother’s Day. Each gift set contains a 6 pack of lemongrass tealights, 2 lemongrass votives, 3 mini lemongrass bath bombs, and a spa water recipe book. It’s everything you need for a delightful spa experience (except the bath of course 🙂 )
I was delighted to connect with some people I’ve seen on Instagram people. One of those was Elena from Boston Creative Co. She does absolutely beautiful work! Such talent!
After I finished looking at her lovely work, I asked Elena what her favourite pieces were. She immediately highlighted her wood burned spoons. What a perfect Mother’s Day gift!
I have to say her bamboo clothespins caught my eye. The painting is absolutely adorable! As a musician, I would LOVE to use this on my music when I’m playing outside. Cute to look at and functional too.
Thank you to Brittany for all the hard work she put in to make this market a reality! It was a pleasure to be part of the event. Thanks also to all the other vendors and everyone who came out to shop! We couldn’t do it without your support.
