Artisan Spring Market 2017

This weekend, I had the pleasure of attending the second event organized by Frizzles Artisan Markets. Although it was cold, it was still an amazing day!

It was a delight to debut 3 new products and a packaging update:

I think the new tealight packaging is a huge improvement! I absolutely love it!

I had the privilege of being placed between two amazing vendors – Soul Gardens and mixed media artist Karen Riley. It was Karen’s very first market!

I absolutely loved all of Karen’s pieces, so I left it up to her to share her favourite piece with us. Unfortunately, that one has a special place at her home, so we don’t get to see it. However, the next best is this amazing sculpture:

The picture just doesn’t do it justice! If you have an opportunity to see her art in person, don’t miss it!

I have to say her steampunk hearts really caught my eye. That said, it would have been extremely hard to choose just one piece as everything was so beautiful.

Thank you to Kayla for organizing another fantastic event, Soul Gardens and Karen for being amazing booth neighbours, and all the new and not-so-new faces at the market! I’m looking forward to being back in Inglewood for the night markets this summer and for the Winter Artisan Market. Our next market is the Makers of Alberta Spring Market in Airdrie. Hope to see you there!
